Frequently, you’ll hear people ask the above question.  Well, the Bible specifically tells us that everyone can know of God by what He has created and revealed to us.  If people choose not to believe God, they are without excuse!

Psalm 19:1-4

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

Titus 2:11

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

Romans 1:20

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Romans 15:21 & Isaiah 52:15

“Rather, as it is written: ‘Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.'”  (Romans references this quote from Isaiah.)

We will be held accountable to that amount of information to which we have been exposed.  As listed in the above verses, when you refuse God to whatever degree that He has shown Himself to you, then you are “without excuse.”  It is not uncommon for people from other cultures, who have never even read the Bible, to claim visitations from Jesus in their dreams to be informed of the Gospel.  If someone will be receptive, He will find a way.  NOBODY will ever accidentally spend eternity in the Lake of Fire!

ALL people have the opportunity, many just refuse to believe it.  You cannot pick and choose your scripture.  It’s all or none.  Why would a rational person believe anything from a book that they suspect to contain errors?  If you don’t believe it all, then you may as well close the Book!
